Butter Cream cafe

I didn't expect a place called 'Butter Cream' to be like a bar. The western food is ok. The Chinese BBQ is good. The resident schnauzer is cute and friendly. The place is pet friendly.

The restaurant is a bit small, but overall it's quite good. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is nice too. It's also a good place to celebrate birthdays. The staff service is great as well.

My two girl friends and I had a lovely brunch at Butter Cream Cafe today. We ordered a bagel, chicken waffle and rice bowl meal off the menu and one coffee. The latte was so-so but the meals were delicious. The atmosphere was nice and cosy although the seatings were a little too close to each other but the other customers weren't that noisy. The place is dog friendly. The owners small dog roamed and interacted freely with customers who weren't afraid of dogs. The dog didn't seem bothered nor did it disturb the customers. It was a nice sight to behold. Just note that this is a small cafe bar above an actual bar so one would have to note the banner and signage and look for the small side entrance. It's definitely a place you'd want to go to if you're avoiding large crowds. Limited seating.

I had a lovely experience at this restaurant. The bar area was great. The music was relaxing, and the lighting was pleasant and a little dark. However, there was a high pitched noise coming from the speakers that should be fixed. We visited after lunch, so it was quiet and peaceful. I ordered the fish burger and the big breakfast. The sausage was a standout, incredibly soft and delicious. The only small critique is that the omelette could have used more seasoning. Providing salt and pepper on the table would be a great idea. This place is also pet friendly. My cat enjoyed his stay, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for a chill meal.
